Miso Ginger Salmon

I’ve been wanting to make this recipe for Miso Ginger Salmon from Luli Gamburd (Nutriluli) for a while now, and I finally tried it today (and it did not disappoint)! I didn’t have a few ingredients from the original recipe at home so I crossed out what I didn’t use and my additions I put in red, but the salmon was still delicious even without these changes!

Here is the recipe:

Miso Ginger Salmon

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.7 lb piece of salmon (I used 2 lb)

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos (or 2 tbsp of honey)

  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil

  • 1/4 tsp sriracha

  • 1 tsp miso paste

  • 2 tsp grated ginger

  • Small garlic clove, chopped

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • Scallions

  • Black & white sesame seeds

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl except the scallions & sesame seeds

  2. Place the salmon on a pyrex, and add the mixed sauce on top.

  3. Add the chopped scallions and sesame seeds over the salmon.

  4. Let marinade for a bit (from 30 minutes- 2 hours).

  5. Place into a 400 degree oven for about 20-30 minutes and enjoy!
