Just made this delicious Vegan Tahini Chocolate Banana ice cream with homemade Chocolate Magic Shell from the Minimalist Baker. The ice cream was so good I couldn’t wait to eat it before taking a picture of my own! Definitely my favorite version of banana ice cream I’ve had yet.
Here are some tips for making the ice cream based on my own experience:
- Chop the frozen banana before putting it in the blender so it is easier for the blender to process
- I’ve heard using a food processor blends frozen bananas better, so will definitely try that next time! Every time I use my Vitamix, my frozen banana ice cream turns into a banana pudding 😦
- I didn’t have unsweetened cocoa powder, and used Nesquik instead. Because Nesquik already has sugar, I didn’t add dates or maple syrup. The sweetness still turned out perfect because of the Nesquik!
