Tahini Banana Ice Cream with Vegan Magic Shell

Just made this delicious Vegan Tahini Chocolate Banana ice cream with homemade Chocolate Magic Shell from the Minimalist Baker. The ice cream was so good I couldn’t wait to eat it before taking a picture of my own! Definitely my favorite version of banana ice cream I’ve had yet.

Here are some tips for making the ice cream based on my own experience:

  • Chop the frozen banana before putting it in the blender so it is easier for the blender to process
  • I’ve heard using a food processor blends frozen bananas better, so will definitely try that next time! Every time I use my Vitamix, my frozen banana ice cream turns into a banana pudding 😦
  • I didn’t have unsweetened cocoa powder, and used Nesquik instead. Because Nesquik already has sugar, I didn’t add dates or maple syrup. The sweetness still turned out perfect because of the Nesquik!

Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did!
